The Exhibitors Survey that was carried out in the weeks immediately after GoMobile 2008 received extremely positive feedback from participating exhibitors. The survey was carried out for a few weeks after the exhibition at PWTC in November 2008.

The exhibitors were polled on various aspects of the exhibition. Areas covered included quality of visitors, location and business generated.

The results were very encouraging.

• 100% were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with exhibiting at GoMobile 2008.
• More than 70% said that quality of visitors were ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’.
• 99% indicated interest in participating in GoMobile 2009
• 85% said that the amount of business generated was ‘Good’ or ‘Fair’. Anecdotal accounts indicate that some major exhibitors hit their entire sales targets on the first day itself
• 98% of exhibitors were pleased with the publicity campaign carried out.
• 65% want GoMobile to be held once a year and 30% want it 2 times a year.
• 88% of exhibitors polled chose Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as their preferred choice as the venue for GoMobile 2009

The support from the exhibitors confirms the fact that the mobile industry needs a dedicated event so as to get the message of the mobile lifestyle out to consumers.

The GoMobile 2008 exhibition gathered more than a hundred exhibitors at Malaysia’s ultimate mobile lifestyle event. Three of the four mobile service providers in Malaysia participated at the event and every major phone brand exhibited at the event. Nearly 60,000 visitors thronged the three-day event.
